Student Life at Andover Newton: An Important Part of the "Hidden Curriculum"

Community life at Andover Newton is rich and lively.  You will find a number of student fellowship groups; one encourages you to make art while others are denominational. If you have a particular interest you can start a new group. You'll also discover several opportunities to attend or create worship services on campus, either  formal and informal. These services provide you with an opportunity to participate in worship experiences that may be quite different from what you've known before.

Student life also brings students and their families together for fun and fellowship with a variety of social activities, such as potluck suppers and picnics, and exercise and walking groups. See the pages of the Student Association and the fellowship groups for more information about opportunities for community life.

One of the gifts of theological study is the opportunity to learn from people outside of your own experiences and faith traditions. While you are here, we encourage you to seek out those who are different from you and to learn all you can from them. Students often report that what they learn from each other is one of the most rewarding aspects of their time at Andover Newton.

You may keep informed about all campus activities through our e-mail newsletter, Student E-News, which is sent to all students' ANTS e-mail accounts and posted on the website as a blog. You may also check out the Event Calendar for current events.
