The Student Association Welcomes You!

The Andover Newton Student Association is a group of elected officers who serve the student body and represent student interests to the Andover Newton administration. The president attends all faculty and Board of Trustee meetings, and meets regularly with the Director of Student Life and the President. Officers are elected each spring to serve the following academic year.

We can be contacted at

The officers for the 2017-2018 academic year are:

Deborah Ottley-Easter, president
Tony Cruz, vice president
Allan McClendon, student life chair

The SA sponsors a variety of activities each year: including hosting major speakers on issues of concern to the student body, Halloween parties, Christmas gatherings, the Spring Fling, and more. The SA receives funding through the student activity fee; it uses these monies to help student fellowship groups create programs and for general campus programming.

The SA Office is adjacent to the student center, which also hosts a small-group meeting room, the campus computer center, student mailboxes, and a comfortable lounge area to catch up with friends or catch the latest Patriots game.

The SA Mission

The Student Association of Andover Newton Theological School advocates for the interests and concerns of the student body and the quality of student life. We seek to fulfill this advocacy by representing the interests of the student body before the trustees, faculty, administration, and staff. Our goal is to foster a campus community that celebrates diversity and upholds the inherent worth and dignity of each person within the whole people of God.
