The Fund for Andover Newton

Educating the next generation of church leaders requires a large financial investment. Student tuition payments only cover 48 percent of the actual cost of attending Andover Newton. Earned income from our endowment and generous gifts from alumni/ae, friends, and churches help make up the difference. Among our top priorities for meeting this challenge is The Fund for Andover Newton.
The Fund for Andover Newton undergirds the annual cost of providing theological education. Each year, 15 full-time faculty members and several dozen adjunct faculty offer courses in four degree programs and 10 special programs to 400 students representing over 35 denominations.
Through our LEARN Program the School also provides regular Continuing Education opportunities on and off campus for lay people and clergy. These programs enable participants to explore their theology, grow in their spiritual lives, and hone their skills in congregational leadership and pastoral ministry.
Our new vision for Andover Newton, as it approaches its bicentenary in 2007, calls for the revitalization of the campus to create an ideal environment for study, teaching and leadership training. The Fund for Andover Newton is the cornerstone of this work, ensuring the School's healthy operation. The Fund provides essential flexibility with which to respond to "real time" opportunities and challenges as they occur. It creates an important synergy of support from which to deliver the best theological education anywhere, anytime.
Your gifts to The Fund for Andover Newton provide an infusion of "current-use" cash that supports an exceptional library, computers and related technologies, teaching tools and resources, a well-maintained campus and responsive staff to ensure that an Andover Newton education equips our students fully.
