Program in Worship, Theology and the Arts

Andover Newton offers a Master of Arts Degree concentration in Theology and the Arts. The program takes at least four semesters of regular study, and at least one summer session of Andover Newton's Institute for Theology and the Arts (a total of 48 credits).
Close, supportive supervision by faculty members, many of whom are practicing artist-theologians, is provided throughout the course of study.
In addition to the M.A.Degree, the Theology and the Arts Program offers opportunities for the community to be involved in their work through concerts, exhibitions, workshops, and other special events throughout the year. The program maintains an artist-in-residence program and an art collection exhibited throughout the campus
